New GM Axle Shaft for 9.5" and 9.76" Rear Axle

American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM) announced that axle shaft part number 40035872 for the 9.5" GM rear axle covering model years 2007-2013 has been expired.
The new part number replacing this axle shaft is 40103091. This axle shaft fits both sides of the 2014 and 2015 model year GM vehicles with the 9.5" and 9.76" rear axle.
This axle shaft also back fits the 9.5" Axle to the 2007 model year. The new 40103091 axle shaft comes with the lug bolts already installed.
